The Golden Paw Way: Our cat companions are independent but they still need our love and attention. At Golden Paws, we understand that cats benefit from having activity and attention, as well as privacy, while they’re away from home. Our cattery is equipped with multi-room cat condos set in a serene environment that also offers opportunities for play. Services extend to dog grooming, training, doggie daycare and lodging. Located far away from our canine guests, you can rest assured that cat boarding and lodging at Golden Paws makes every stay comfortable and pleasant for our small feline guests.
Our guests visit us from all over, including areas around Princeton, Allentown, Hamilton, Robbinsville, Upper Freehold, West Windsor, East Windsor, Cranbury, Millstone, Middlesex County, Mercer County, Monmouth County, Ocean County and surrounding areas. Whether your cat or dog needs boarding, we have services to accommodate them.

Cozy Cat Condos
Our 3-room multi-level cat condos give our guests room to move around as well as to hide-away for a feeling of security and privacy. Each individual condo is equipped with comfy bedding, a dining area and a private potty space. And when it’s time to play, cats can enjoy climbing on the central play tower or lounging on the wall hammocks.
We want your furry friend to feel as much at home as possible.
Custom Care
We understand that every pet is unique and may have special needs. Put your mind at ease. Simply tell us about your pet’s care requirements, and our dedicated team will pamper your pet like you would at home. We even offer special packages that will give your cat extra attention and you peace of mind:
TLC Package
- A Classic cat condo with all meals, bedding and housekeeping services

- A belly rub and tuck-in before bedtime to say goodnight
Puparazzi Package

For small pets:
In addition to our attentive services for felines, we can also accommodate your small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, ferrets and chinchillas comfortably in their own carriers or they can stay in one of our condos. Please contact us with any questions regarding your small animal boarding needs.

Guest Policies
Before you check your pet into Golden Paws, please be aware of the following policies designed to ensure your pet has a safe and pleasant stay with us.
Proof of Vaccinations
All pets entering the Resort and Spa are required to have current vaccinations. A veterinary certificate providing proof of vaccination is required at least seven days prior to visiting us.
- Dogs must have current Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella, and we highly recommend Canine Influenza vaccinations. We also require dogs be on a flea and tick preventative.
- Cats must have current Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Distemper Combo) vaccinations.
Pick-up and Drop-off
Please allow at least 15 minutes for pick-ups and drop-offs in our lobby.
Alternate Contact Information
When you check your pet into Golden Paws, please be aware that you will need to give us an alternate contact name and phone number to keep on file. The individual you give should be local and able to make decisions on your behalf, as well as pick up your pet in the event of an unforeseen circumstance.
Meals and Feeding
We recommend that you bring your pet’s usual food from home to avoid an upset tummy. All dry food must be divided into meal-sized portions and packed in individual sealed sandwich bags with each bag labeled with the pet’s first and last name. Canned food, as well as fresh food, like chicken, vegetables or tuna fish, is also welcome.
Bedding
We provide a comfortable raised bed for all of our canine guests. You are welcome to bring your pet’s own bedding, as long as it will fit in our washer/dryers.
Accommodations for Small Animals
We have cozy individual condos available for our small furry guests. However, if your pet would feel more comfortable, we can use your small animal cage or carrier in lieu of our condos.
Medications and Supplements
If your pet needs medication, supplements or vitamins, we require that you provide the medication to us in the original container. The container must clearly indicate the patient name, medication name, strength, dosage, and the prescribing veterinarian, if applicable. Please do not bring any medication, supplements or vitamins already mixed with your pet’s food or in any other packaging except the original container.
Note: Administration fees will apply for oral and topical medications, as well as injections. We do not accept diabetic cats needing insulin at this time.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, we work closely with Princeton Animal Hospital or NorthStar VETS to provide care. Our staff maintains a detailed log of events for you and your veterinarian, if a health concern arises.
